I'm sure there has been worse, but this was as bad of a job of losing on purpose I've ever seen.

They should lose a draft pick, at a minimum.

But Peterson should be banned for a year for that. That's such dogshit.

As I keep telling you, the decision may have come from management. The more I think about it, the more I surmise it was a management call.

Losing a draft pick effects the franchise. That's what they deserve. And not a 5th+ rounder.

Peterson and/or the Eagles management cheated the NFL. Fucking trash.

There is no difference between what the Eagles did tonight and a team resting its starters after clinching a bye or something. Zero difference. In both cases you are tinkering with said game based on the future. What would be wrong is if you used your time based on what some other team (the Giants) needed vs what you need. Which is to see what you got.

Exactly. Don't hear people bitching about the Steelers for sitting starters. Browns win and in and Dolphins are out. Happens every year. Every year.

Not to mention, if Hurts had gotten injured seriously in the 4th quarter on a wet, muddy field against a strong DL, everybody would have said Pederson's an idiot for risking the QB of the future in a meaningless game. Sissy Giants' fans just need to shut up. Crying because their 6-10 team is out of the playoffs? Get real. Eagles don't have to field the team that Giants fans want them to field.

Not to mention that Hurts had completed less than a third of his passes for under 100 yards through three quarters. If he couldn’t run they’d have been doing nothing on offense. Hell one of their drives only succeeded because of the refs. It’s not like he was putting up HOF numbers....
