I saw speculation from one media member, don’t remember who, that Ron had made some indication about 2 GMs. If Kyle Smith stays on, and Hurney is here for 2-3 just to show him the ropes of the other aspects of being a GM outside of talent evaluation, I love it. If Hurney becomes the de facto talent evaluator and Kyle Smith leaves, I hate it.

It would be a brilliant move by Rivera if it's the former.

You pretty much nailed it and ended the thread IMO.

We won't know much about how it's going before a couple of years, and with RR showing signs of turning this franchise around in year 1, I'll trust him on this one until I have a reason not to.
