You can paint Capers "gone". The over/under for how long he lasts after the final game for the Texans - against the 49ers no less - on New Years Day is 48 hours. I'll take UNDER.

Casserly is probably 50/50 to survive.

The Texans real failing is that their offensive line awful. The only thing offensive about it is the smell of their practice uniforms back during training camp in August. They don't block real well for the run but they make up for that by blocking really horribly on pass plays. David Carr is lucky to be alive. Even in the worst of times for the Skins' OL under Steve Spurrier, the Skins' OL was hugely better than what the Texans have.

So who's to blame? Is Capers at fault for not getting enough performance out of those jamokes? Is Casserly at fault for thinking those lumps could actually block other professional football players? Or did Casserly assemble a flawed bunch and then Capers got them to underachieve even from their reduced levels of proficiency? You make the call...
