People acting like we're gonna get 4k, 28/14 out of Fitz need to tone down their expectations. He'll get 4k - but it will be with a 60% completion rate and 28/22 ratio. He's gonna have his off-the-mark passes more than people expect.

The offense will go as far as AG and Terry can take them.. Fitz has never been a guy that can carry a team

I am saying it because of last year's play calling and the poor execution in the red zone. Can it be different, sure but the offense is behind the defense by far and that is why I said what I said.

New year, new QB, a couple new Wr's. I think the offense will be fine. These guys need to gel a bit but the talent is there. We don't know who is behind who because we haven't played a game.

The starting defense allowed 1 first down and max 50 yds. The starting offense turned the ball over, had two stalled drives and failed to get a 4th and short. Dude, saying the defense needs to be on its game in the season isn't some shocking statement. Just a note of caution after hoping to see more explosiveness even in the preseason.

I just wouldn't put any stock into what the defense did cause Burrow was not playing. The one time we did play him we basically could not them their offense. It looked like the Bengals have high school QB's behind him.

The defense did what it is supposed to do in preseason- stuff the offense in front of them without complex scheming. Beat the match up man on man and make individual plays. There were a bunch of stellar plays by individuals.

The 1st team offense did not do what it is supposed to do, which is not turn the ball over, convert 4th and 1s, put the ball in the endzone. The plays were there but the team, and Fitz, missed them.

Can the offense correct it and be explosive come week 1? Absolutely. Is the offense ahead of the defense and clicking on all cylinders? Definitely not.

There is absolutely no chance in hell that Patterson was not 1 of the best 259 players in the draft this year. Every team, including us, fucked up by not picking him. He is a stud.

But we also did good because we needed a RB and he was the only UDFA we signed. We could sell, look, we need you and we aren't just signing as many people as possible, you have a real shot to not only make the team, but make an impact.

Just look at his production in college. Pretty crazy that he was not drafted.
