Not a defensive specialist but shouldn't 99 be going towards the QB in that pic. Looks like he is heading towards a beer vendor instead. Again, I am not a expert.

If you watch that play, Payne was almost tackled, and Sweat was held as well.

CY was engaged with the tackle and then knocked off balance by Knox who chip blocked him in his way out of the backfield to the flat. He wasn't running away.

Edit: Nevermind - Chase just got handled by the RT. Knox didn't touch him.

Very appropriate gif Chico. I had the same feeling when they converted that 3rd and 15.

I get it - you want to show different looks - but I know the play you are referring to - Allen completed the pass to the receiver next to Young - and Young looked like he had no idea what was going on. It's ok to put a DE in coverage - if he knows how to cover.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread

there were a couple big time holds that were not called but that wouldn't have changed the outcome. That was a matchup of top 10 team v bottom 10 team and it showed big time

Really? but there is no such requirement for our starting linebackers

Complaining about calls is sour grapes. We have certainly got are fair share go our way this year. I mean the refs and the Giants gave us a win.

Eh, you can do both in my opinion. Two blatant non-calls in two key moments (the 3rd and 15 hold and what should have been an OPI on Diggs) extended drives that led to TDs.

Outcome would have likely be the same, but we got f'ed over in the first half by the refs (as much as the defense also f'ed us over).

I'll take it. I still don't understand why it's a bad thing to be gifted a win. I suppose it strengthens the arguments that this is some sort of dumpster fire, but at least it's a W.

Yesterday was embarrassing; easily could have been 43 to nothing if not for 2 plays to get us 14.
Easily could have been 29-28 too, if the offense didn't turn the ball over three times.

SD was our best game so far.
Agreed, but week 1 usually doesn't tell the whole story. Hell, weeks 1-4 usually doesn't tell the whole story...

WTF @ Bills post game thread

Ill take the o line argument outta the CY thread and bring it here. It is a problem. Idc what numbers say. Everything on this team except our wr1, te, rb, and punter has been more of a problem than a solution minus a couple guys in the trenches who probably look bad because they are surrounded by clowns and coached by clowns too.

So this team is not a dumpster fire?
I mean I understand that they are NFL players and all that but of the 32 teams in the league someone has to be the worst and we are in that conversation.

My apologies. However that post yesterday was the first time I posted here in OVER A YEAR. I stopped posting and was just reading your posts for months. Anytime I posted anything, I got attacked and accused of trolling. So I stopped.

That post yesterday wasn't even detrimental, or anything that attacked your team un nature. And that is a troll post? I have just come to accept that no matter what I write, it will be received as a troll post. It is what it is.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread

Matt Ryan has a 70.9% completion percentage with a league low 3.2 yards completed through air ...

this D struggles with QB making quick read accurate throws on short to mid stuff.

Im guessing our LBs should be targeted again.
