Re: final nfc contenders

Chicago is not a lock either for the division or the wildcard. They have a fairly tough schedule and could go either way possibly losing 2 of the 3 and we would have the tiebreaker over them. So much can happen, that last game in Chicago and Minnesota could be our ticket if we are to go wildcard. I think Atlanta will get beat up on these last four games and eliminate themselves extremely tough schedule. Atlanta we only need to lose 1 game, we need Tampa to win that division since they hold the tiebreaker against us. So hope Carolina gets beat up on at least two of these games to go to 10-6. Any team that goes 10-6 we hold the tie-breaker against except Tampa who owns the head-to-head. We have a great division record and conference record if we win out.

I have not seen it posted anywhere else, how serious is Antonio Pierce injury when he got carted off the field with a ankle injury? I would think that would be a big lost to there D this late in the season.
