Point is WITHOUT A TOP QB, anything like 2-6, 3-5, 4-4 etc. is a tough hole to climb out of. Playmakers make a difference, and wee just don't have one.
3-4 is one game under .500. 2-6 is .250

Just not the same hole to climb out of or get into.

No, but my point was with a good or great QB, climbing out of that hole is a far sight easier. We've done well with what we have, but we needed (and will need) a great QB to be able to sustain that climb. Hell, probably wouldn't have been in that hole to start with if we had that QB.
