We can get a franchise quarterback and still upgrade our D thru the draft and or FA.

We get a safety and some linebacker help and our D will be vastly improved. Don’t have to be all pro’s either just above average guys. Our D was improving last year, but we also were missing Sweat and CY for huge amounts of time. Im counting on CY coming back strong, getting some new blood, and maybe Davis taking a step forward in year two. We have continuity in the coaching ranks which should help also. We get Russ, and we are a contender even with last years team. But we also will be getting some new blood thru picks and FA. Don’t underestimate what a franchise quarterback can do for a team though. We see it all the time, it is just never us.

But again if you are Seattle why would you trade a top QB? Someone give me one legit reason why they'd do it? What do they gain by trading him? Picks that hit less than 50%? They have any old coach. They ain't rebuilding w/ a rookie in a weak QB class. Wilson is out.

Because Wilson seems to want out and only stupid/dysfunctional franchise would drag a situation like this out. And Pete Carroll is established enough that the team would give him the time to rebuild.

I agree Wilson has been putting out feelers. But it really doesn't mean anything unless Seattle actually wants to trade him. They don't. They can still compete for a SB w/ a few upgrades. The situation there is not dysfunctional like Houston and Watson.

Once he finally got healthy they scored like 90 points their last two games. They're going to trade that for some picks and Daron Payne? 😅

The reality is good ole' Trubumski, a highly drafted player and Taylor. No way would Jimmy G come here cause Kyle would tell him what a loser Dan is.

Brady has influenced both Russ and AR situations. I think leaving is in the cards for both.

Also, teams can learn from situations like Houston, who paid Watson $10 million to sit at home for a whole season. Or how Bruce Allen got into a dick swinging contest with Kirk and let him walk for nothing.

It is just plain stupid for teams to insist on keeping a QB that no longer wants to play with them.

It pretty much aligns with the norms of rich owners who think they are invincible.

and it is in boths best interest to stay in NFC. Go to AFC have to face: Mahommes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Jackson I am sure I am missing other young QBs that can change games lightening fast or stay in NFC and face
Stafford, Prescott

I tend to agree with you, but there is a price for everything. Everyone has that point where the offer is too much to refuse, and DS is the type of guy that will go there.
