Wentz is just a bridge QB, and I do prefer a 1-year and a way out, than overpaying Winston/Trubisky/Mariota for two years.

And yes, giving up a pair of 3rd rounders is overpaying, but that happens with QBs.

Giving up the picks isn't bad if you are let's say the Rams. We ain't that. We need those to help upgrade a roster w/ a lot of holes.

You can upgrade the roster all you want but if you put Heinicke as the Rams starter they don't win 8 games.

Its all about the QB and WC just upgraded.
