Something definitely isn’t adding up.
Men don't always call for help, even if needed and available. Being young, probably even more likely. Not sure how much money changes that.

And he could have underestimated how fast cars are moving on freeways.

Could simply be a deadly series of mistakes on his part.

He's dead either way, so I guess it doesn't really matter. But I still hope this was the case.

If his car wasn't involved in the story at all, then you start thinking a possible mental health issue or drug/alcohol related event happened. Those are when you start thinking, what could have been done different by anyone besides him, to possibly prevent this. The answer still might be nothing. But you definitely think about it.
