Trying not to be super neagtive.

Even Al Galdi on his podcast was like geez WTF we are really not seeing improvement. He made a good point about the draft capital we have spent on D and this what we get for it.

Now seeing the Eagles doing so well, just frustrating for sure.

Our drafts and personnel decisions under RR have been as bad as our on the field play. But they do go hand in hand so ….

I bet if you look at his numbers in those 39 games they are way better then 2-37 is all im saying. Since he left Washington are we winning primetime games? Lol. Were the Vikings before he got there. The dude is no super star but man his teams and coaching staffs have been putrid.
I wanna get drunk and drown my sorrows in advance of the actual game lol.

I find it funny how the mood changes week-to-week around here. In the preseason the general consensus was the Eagles were overrated, Hurts is overrated, they ain't gonna do shit, etc. And now we're all sitting here talking about how we're gonna get our asses kicked again next week.

It has more to do with our inept defense than the Eagles.. Yeah they are better than I thought they would be I'll be honest but we are also way worse on D than I imagined too

It can be a little Jekyll and Hyde around here....

I am generally optimistic, especially this early in the season. I think that the results we see from some teams are true, while with some teams it takes a few weeks to really get an idea what they are going to be.

I really want to believe that it will be a game on Sunday, and it very well could be. However, I'm starting to lean a little pessimistic based on all the reporting - coaches calling out specific players, players calling out the coaching - and based on what I have seen from this defense so far - big plays all over the place, can't stop the run... Granted, I do tend to believe that Detroit and Jacksonville are better than what anyone thought they would be, but maybe they aren't...it's only been two games.

Hurts (Philly) looked pretty good last night. We knew he could run, can be good for a couple TDs per game with his legs, but he threw the ball real well, didn't make many mistakes, didn't seem pressured much. I don't know man, it just sort of feels like we're heading toward a repeat of the Monday Night Massacre. I hope not, but it sure feels like the momentum is heading in that direction.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 2 Style

Idk - we've had some success against Philly the last couple years but if this defense can't figure out how to defend a mobile qb or how to defend against bunch formations they will exploit it all day.

I agree with Galdi if he is referring to the defense…certainly a lined with first round talent should be producing more. Like if Sweat doesn’t get double digits sacks while also giving something in run game…let his ass walk.

It's not being negative..

Football is about matchups..

If we were playing the Giants or Dallas I'd feel better

We couldn't stop the Jags or Lions WRs' , what makes anyone feel that we can stop Brown and Smith? Barring some miracle , we lose by 10 easy

When it comes to the defense, I’ve seen enough. JDR needs to go
