I don't predict it does, but I don't think it's entirely unlikely either...

Some of you think Sweat is mediocre, sacking the QB isn’t everything. https://commanderswire.usatoday.com/...hyAHX1rltHY2wg

Unless there are some major injuries on D I don’t see it

Let's not forget so quickly how dysfunctional this D was early on this year...
I'm happily impressed by how they dramatically improved recently, and I'm cautiously confident they can keep going this way, but I don't know that I have enough confidence in Ron and his staff to completely exclude the potentiality of an ugly unravelling.

Any improvements on the defense can be easily undone by a terrible offense. I think holding the Vikes to 7 points for 3 quarters was a good job. But the offense was only able to come up with 17 points and your defense can only hold for so long.

Holding the Vikings to 7 points for 3 quarters, and 20 points overall, and not winning that game was a gut punch.

GB, MIN, and IND all give up about 20-21 points per game on average. We averaged 20 points per game against those teams over the three weeks Heinicke has started. That tells you that the output of this offense with Heinicke - is average at best. Going to have to get that number up to 24-25 down the stretch to have a shot at a wild card spot.

5 of the last 8 games will be against teams that rank in the top 10 with regard to points allowed per game.
