Yawn -- looking at his numbers, I wasn't sure why we were all that interested. to be clear, I know we need LB help. But he seemed like he wouldn't provide much of it.

Nice article by Heinicke. He was a little below average QB for us but I'm sure he will be one of the players I will remember years later, simply because of how the team rallied around him and won some games we should have lost.

Great article. A refreshing story and easy guy to root for.

Article in Wash Post says that the Commanders contract with NBC Sports Washington has expired and wont be renewed. Its unclear now where pre and post game coverage will be. Preseason will only be on channel 4 not both 4 and NBCSW.

Spoken like a true and humble.... human being.

Especially the part where it got rocky towards the end and Rivera lost us the Cleveland game by benching him (my words not his).

Enjoyed his time here, he was fun (and yes painful at times) to watch but overall great to root for and a lightning rod for this team, franchise and city. We won't soon forget, for better or worse, his time here and wish him the best in the ATL.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread

TH is a great back up his biggest flaw was that our QB 1s sucked while he was here

For us???? He was below average??? For us???? (by saying it that way you would have to compare him only to QBs we've had - so I don't think that would be an accurate statement).

I still think Jackson lands here.

Which sucks.

I think they are genuinely not interested in Jackson.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread

it'd be surprising on dan's way out the door... obviously, he'd kick the money to the new owner, but that's a lot of cash and once he has the money, the team's stuck. If he gets hurt or sucks :/ and giving away picks too.

Most likely he won't suck, but that'd be a lot of cap to clear and I don't think it's worth it. Without the picks and a ridiculous fully guaranteed contract, I'd be much more open to it.

I don’t think so too. It will take a lot of adjustments to fit Jackson’s style and I don’t think Rivera would go for it in the year he needs to prove himself.
