We're going down this season no matter who plays QB. I grant you that Brissett might be the answer to the question "How can we win a few more games?" but that is about it. Also, as things are going right now, Howell is due for a serious injury on the field, so we could at least preserve Sam's health by starting Brissett.
Right now, most sites that I read list Brissett as the third ranked Free Agent QB for 2024. Why not trade him and get a draft pick or two?
