Re: Coach Suck/Refs Cheat - Post-Game Thread
I think if u put Parsons on this DL he still dominates. He's an Elite player those 4 are JAGs. You can't blame coaching every week. Yeah JDR is bad but guys not getting to the QB isn't on him.

Re: Coach Suck/Refs Cheat - Post-Game Thread
Got the impression from Hoffmans podcast (with Logan Paulsen)that in part the lack of pressure was due to the scheme of containing Hurts, which may explain alot, that and the Eagles have an elite Oline. None the less those four guys aren't creating the plays that their salary(demands) warrant, and with both Allen and Payne under contract they may actually be worth more in trade

We have critiqued the roster decisions already a multitude of times, but if you draft/pay players to be difference makers then you need to have a scheme and gameplan that makes that investment worthwhile.... same as with QB, you need to have an Oline to make it work.

Often times our four d-linemen are going up against five o-linemen. So, that does play quite a role. Then you add in a mobile QB who they're facing regularly which can exacerbate the situation. JDR and his schemes, or lack of, plays a bigger role than you might surmise. |
