Pick 6s three weeks in a row will do that. The one from yesterday was as bad a throw as I can recall. Woof.

That wasn't a bad throw by Howell. The LB simply made a great play by reading the play quickly and immediately got into the throwing lane. Howell barely had a second to hold the ball and throw, it would be difficult for Howell (and most QBs) to recognize the LB reacting to the play and throw the ball within 1-2 second..

Plus Wiley must have read where he was going and knew he'd be in the path. A top OT would pursue and push him out of the play. Wiley just let him go.

The LB, I forget his name, stated he knew which play was coming from studying film because Wiley sets up the same way every time it is called. Not only can't he block, but Wiley is giving the plays away to the defence
