I think Cousins should get one more year somewhere to see if he is able to play still. The Achilles injury could have been (and still could be) career ending to the point that he is not able to do what was once his strong suit - Roll outs, play action, extending plays with his legs.

Except for his very first bad game on week one, he looked pretty good up until it seemed like he was totally out of gas in the last part of the season. As a layman, I think he had to put 100% of everything on his arm because he couldn't / didn't trust his legs because he was still dealing with the Achilles healing.

He came back within a year but I think a total Achilles recovery was always 12 - 16 months.

He might still retire, I honestly do not know.
