The strategy is obvious, they're trying to win it all now while JD is on a rookie deal. This was a really steep price to pay for Tunsil. I'm not sure I would categorize anything we have done so far as "throwing in the towel on the draft". For Tunsil, we gave up a 3rd and 7th this year and got a 4th back. We did give up a couple picks next year, but it's too early to tell what picks we'll end up with in 2026 at this point.

We still have five picks this year in rounds 1, 2, 4, 6, & 7.

I don't know yet if I'm a fan of the Kinlaw deal, but I'll give AP the benefit of the doubt.

Gotta believe we are actively looking for some DB help with Chinn going to the Raiders.
