Could it go bad, sure but Peters is an experienced FO guy, and knows the boundaries; and Terry understands the business of football. They will work it out. I think it is Andrew Brandt that says Deadlines Spur Actions. Right now there is no immediate deadline so I imagine proposals aren't flying fast and furious. But it is the time of the season that even highly credible reporters are pulling threads to create stories out of nothing.

With that said T. Williams held out of SF training camp and even missed preseason games, but they eventually got a deal done so Peters may not see training camp as the deadline that us fans do.
