Bears Week
Came across this article about Tyrique Stevenson -- the Bears CB that got burned by last year's Hail Mary after taunting the crowd -- and thought I'd post it: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/669...serId=13637936.
Very interesting little nugget -- in high school, he got burned deep on a game winning TD pass to none other than Ja'Corey Brooks. We should elevate Brooks just for the rematch.

Re: Bears Week
This is going to be a fun game especially with how we won last year and the Ben Johnson interview process with us prior to getting Quinn. We need to win this game and set the tone. Johnson will have the Bears pumped and Williams will try to outduel Daniels. Get it done Commanders. Really looking forward to this game.

Re: Bears Week
Yeah, they are 100% going to be gunning for us. Our victory last year literally broke that team. They have a new coaching staff and a number of new faces (especially on O-Line), but they'll come ready to play.
Their run D is not very good. We need a heavy dose of old school run it down their throats football and force them to try to stop it. Their pass D has been pretty good, actually. They're very inconsistent offensively -- they put up big numbers on the Dallas D, but that isn't much of an accomplishment, really. I think we have the better personnel. But we need to play like we're the underdogs, just like we did last week. Hail, baby.

Re: Bears Week
Kliff needs to design a gameplan bigtime for Bill, McNichols, and Rodriguez. Just pound the rock endlessly. McNichols and Rodriguez are underrated and we all know how much of a stud Bill is. Our rbs are suddenly a strength on this team. Maybe even give Deebo a few touches. Just commit to the run entire game and watch JD5 ball out. Bring on the Bears. Sorry Da Bears lol.

Re: Bears Week
Guys will have to be on their best behaviour Monday night, the officiating crew have thrown 117 flags in 5 games, thats over 23 per game.
Laremy Tunsil, you have been warned. ![]()

Re: Bears Week
On 1st down run the ball.
On 2nd down, run the ball. On 3rd down run the ball. If we run like we have shown we can, I'm not worried about 4th down. But seriously, lean on he run game and let JD5 do his thing off the back of that once they're forced to play heavy run D. Their run D has been poor so far, why outthink yourselves? |

Re: Bears Week
I don't want to see funny or trick plays. This team is set to dominate the Bears' d-line so just run straight downhill with pulling oline.

Re: Bears Week
That's really going to suck if he can't play considering Terry and Brown are out. Dang. Hope he can go.

Re: Bears Week
If we are missing Terry, Brown, and Samuel, I’m pretty concerned. Obviously, we are expecting a run heavy approach anyway, but we need a credible receiving threat. Ertz hasn’t been that so far this season, and while I like what I’ve seen from Luke and Lane has promise, this would be a real obstacle to overcome.

Re: Bears Week
We really need to get some receivers back.
Not bringing back OZ was a mistake
