So, the couple nextdoor to me... he is a Skins' fan, she a Dallas.. both diehards. Yesterday I went up to Karen: "So, I hear Dallas got Owens" she says "whaa?". I replied stoned faced, "yeah... Oh and two... against the Skins this year.. bwhaahahaa".. (sorry, I blatenly stole and modified from here)... so she looks at me like... "you a$$hole!". I couldn't stop myself.. "sorry, didn't mean to be so harsh.... so, what time you guys play tomorrow? Oh.. damn, sorry, you aren't playing anymore... bwaahhhah!"

I left shortly after that.

Stopped back by there a bit ago to see what dude was doing for the game. When I walked in, they were having a discussion about who had the tougher schedule this year. My wife (who tells our friends it was in our pre-nups that she became a Skins fan when we married) was explaining to her that I had the SOS stats at home. She didn't what to here it and started come up with nonsense reasoning... "we played nearly all the same teams, and beat the ones you couldn't..." I finally conceded the conversation... "you are right, you did have a tougher schedule... you had to play us twice.... " nuff said.
