the offense went down right after randy thomas did. the line is the heart of the offense and they haven't been right sinse he went down.

Well they looked ok against the Giants. I think Brunell's knee came into play and when Brown had to come out and Raymer went in he looked horrible (in fairness he is a center). I do agree that the Thomas injury was important, but I don't think he was the main issue. I think field position played a huge part in yesterdays game. When Antonio Brown let punt after punt bounce at the 20 yard line and roll inside the 10 that really hurt.

Yep. Gotta put in the fact that Clinton Portis was playing injured the past couple of weeks; there was no James Thrash (which is a good third down receiver); and Brunell never really looked the same after that knee injury against the Giants. I thought Ray Brown did a good job in place of Randy Thomas, but certainly Randy's absence played a factor with our protection.
