Good for the Colts!! Dont have to worry about playing him much in the season. Sure would be nice to have a qb like him. I watched the Skins/Colts game a couple of years ago and rembember (i think) Peyton liking the Redskins when he was a kid.

That is absolutely crazy. I totally agree with the A-Rod comparison. The Colts have sold the farm for one player. They'll be in deep trouble in the next few years. And he hasn't won a Super Bowl!!! How much will Brady want in his next contract????
P.S. Does Manning need anyone to carry his suitcases for him????

I love football and the Redskins are one of the joys of my life, but the money these guys are being paid to play a GAME is ridiculous when you look at the average salaries of firemen, school teachers, police officers and other professions that are truly critical to our society. Beyond that, it makes a $20 million signing bonus look like chump change. The bubble is going to burst someday ... it can't keep going like this.

I know, it's a crazy world where oversized kids playing ball get more than all the teachers combined.
But, were the colts really going to let him go? QB is the top postion, and he's (one of) the tops.

If the Colts let him go, they would be critizied severley, but Manning would have just put some other team in this position.
