I'm getting a weird vibe that Gregg Williams may not be Gibbs' successor after he re-retires. Title for Saunders is ASSOCIATE coach - offense. Title for Williams is ASSISTANT coach - defense. Being an associate is being equal to Gibbs, while being an assistant is under Gibbs. Maybe I'm reading into it too much.......

Bugel is already the assistant HC - offense, so I think they had to get creative in making a title for Saunders that would put him above Bugel, but without "demoting" Bugel.

I wouldn't read into it, but that's just my opinion.
