Supposedly the longer that your not "in" the harder it becomes year after year. Such a crock, oh well Im not ever visiting the hall until Monk gets in.

I've said the exact same thing, the first time I visit canton will be when they induct Monk.....

Yeah. I was telling Warpath that if I were Monk and got inducted at this point I'd turn it down just to make them look like idiots.

Why don't they just make a rule that only one Redskin per decade is allowed in the Hall? It was a nice try by Monk to play for the Eagles for a season, which apparently gets you bonus points. Maybe he should have played for the Cowboys for a year, that would have guaranteed him a spot.

I'd also like to point out that John Madden was 9-7 in important football games, and his own players said that they would have won at least two more Super Bowls with any other coach.

I agree about Peter King.. He's been slobbing on Harry Carson for years and finally got him in.. I wouldn't be suprised to see him shed a tear at the induction or better yet, since Carson said previously he wouldn't attend if inducted, King should give his acceptance speech. Snyder should refuse to play in the HOF game until Monk is inducted and the Redskins should boycott talking to Peter King for 2006.

BTW, among the voters for Hall of Fame, Peter King, Len Pastabelly, Dr. Z.. Coincidence, I think not.

I'm really surprised that Derrick Thomas isn't going in. I'm upset that Monk's not in, but it stopped surprising me a few years ago, now I just refuse to visit or support it till he gets in. However, I would have thought Thomas was going in. I guess that if they had vote closer to the time of his death, but he was a great linebacker the years that he was in the league and had he not been in a car accident, may have been considered one of the all time greats.

Our only consolation is at least Irvin didn't get inducted either. That would have been insult to injury if Irvin got in and Art didn't..................

We know part of the problem is Peter King and Paul Zimmerman......GRRRRRRRRRRR

No the voters would just come back and say, see that's why we took so long to pick him, and he wasn't really deserving.

Maybe we should start a compaign and start writing to Peter King and Paul Z's boss's telling them what lousy journalist they are.......

Well since f-in Irvin made it one vote further than Monk the writing is on the wall that irvin will go in before Monk...what a kick in the nuts.
