In no specific order:
QB Brunell - As much as I like Ramsey, I think Brunell's going to have an awesome year. He's never had so many weapons at his disposal with this much protection. He's mobile, he's got two great tackles protecting the flanks, two strong guards protecting the interior, Gardner, Coles, Portis Jacobs, Thrash, and McCants to throw to, one of the league's best backs coming out of the backfield, and an All-Star coaching staff. He's named an alternate to the Pro Bowl. OLB Marcus Washington - Benefitting from LaVar, who the backs are watching in pass protection, Washington gets 6 sacks and a boatload of tackles. Who will be a disappointment? Griffin was surrounding by a good supporting cast in NY (See, Michael Strahan). Here in D.C. he is the "star" of the bunch and will draw much more attention. Though he might be a decent pick-up, don't expect Cornelius (who had 1 sack last season) to turn our defensive line woes around. |
