I expect him to be gracious. There is absolutely no reason why he needs to say that the Steelers' fan base is better than ours. He can just say he's excited to play in a town with a great fan base, he's excited to be a Pittsburgh Steeler, and leave it at that.

The comment about our fan base was entirely unnecessary and unsolicited.

you realize he complimented our fanbase, right? the steelers generally are regarded as having a better fanbase by most in the media etc, so all of a sudden he's not allowed to state facts?

Its no big deal, lloyd trashed the 49ers already (they haven't won a lot of games lately), arch thrashed the rams (we finished 30th in defense), so we should be on their arse about it too right?

NO because he plays for us now. i mean im not even trying to hide the bias and its completely admitted. its because they play for us and its who i like, granted not everyone gets a free pass on stuff they say.
