Wow. another DT. I would have thought DE would be more of a priority.

NO offensive players selected yet?

You could have said the same thing about Randy Moss. After the men's basketball playoffs, I'm thinking there are a few gems in 1-AA footballers.

No, Marshall is still Division I-A. I'm not sure the basketball comparison works, either.

moss was absolutely prolific though and marshall is I-A, and he's 6"4".

Give this guys a year and 10-15 more pounds of muscle and he will a great 6th round value pick. In the mean time he will be a great special teams player.
Backup Sean Taylor? HA! The dude is smart not fast. He would be a liability in deep coverage against your Terry Glenns and Sinorice Mosses.

4.5 is pretty good for a safety, especially when that safety is 230 lbs.+. Moreover, his instincts make him a lot "faster" than his 40 time suggest.

i agree, and 4.5 at 230lbs is great, but in a foot race, a guy like steve smith, santana etc blow by him.

What we needed is a guy to be a backup safety from now through the next ten years. It's the kind of stuff late picks are around for. Looks like we filled a need.
