Re: Fantasy Top 100

Hooskins,

First off, thanks for drawing interest in the site. We look forward you to visiting it often. Or hope you do!!!

As for Reggie Bush being ranked at #34 overall, it could be a strech but the big play potential is there. Bush will be on the field ALOT in the "Big Easy" as a RB, WR, and playmaker. He will get his chances, get his yardage and factor in as on of the Top 40 fantasy players as a rookie. College or NFL, he is one of those players you just "have to" take a gamble on.

As for the Big Ben vs. Brunell comparision, I am without hesitation taking Big Ben. Roethlisburger only got better in his 2nd year in the NFL, and he will continue to. Yes he lost Bettis and Randell El, but the Steelers have showed more indication of throwing the ball to Heath Miller in the Red Zone in 2006. Also Big Ben is young, reliable, and clutch, you can't go against that. If Brunell stays healthy he can post nice fantasy numbers, but he is getting older, and the body is showing signs of wear and tear. I just couldn't take a gamble on Brunell over a guy with the ceiling of Big Ben.

As for Santana Moss, whats not to like about the guy. He makes big plays and has the speed to catch the deep ball and makes the most out of nothing. Ranking him at #26 overall is on point in my opinion. Per our rankings he ranks as the #9 WR behind Smith, Johnson,Harrison, Owens, Fitzgerald, Moss, Holt and Boldin. I think that is a fair assumption.

Lastly, we will talk a little Colts football and Joseph Addai. With that high octane offense in Indy, Addai is going to get chances, plenty of them. Intially, word is he will split time with Dominic Rhodes, but one the Colts see Addai's explosiveness, field knowledge and knack for getting the extra yard he will be the go-to RB. Hell the Colts didn't draft him in the 1st round for no reason. Not only is Addai going to factor into a solid fantasy option in 2006, he is one of those young backs everyone will want their hands on in Keepers Leagues. And that is because the Colts move the football and MANY goalline chances await.

Hope this helps!!!
