it would be dumb to cut patten, especially since we don't need the money
if moss gets hurt, were definitely gonna need him...or if any of the receivers get hurt... |

In Patten's case I don't think it's about the money, it's more about the roster spot. He will be the 4th or 5th receiver on the depth chart and does not play special teams. His salry is hefty for a player who does not play ST and will not be one of the top three at his position. We stand to loose however if we do cut him because of the bonus we signed him too last season. |

They're takin a chance on Loyd's personality & work ethic, so maybe havin patten around will be a good influence & also let him know that a competent backup is ready to take his place. |
