Talented, but injury prone. It confounds me to think of him perhaps replacing another injured player. We were lucky with Walt Harris, we did manage to get a few games out of him. With our salry cap being the way it is, and with little talent available at the position we have to take on these guys for depth because they're talented and cheap but don't offer any security long term. I guess we're spoiled into either wanting or needing a career player at every position though we know it's not going to happen. |

According to Redskin Radio, Springs will be out a "few weeks" and will have SURGERY to repair a groin issue regarding muscle attachment to the bone. Ouch.

There's no such thing as non-serious surgery. Even knowing that it was done right away, this has been a recurring problem with him. What kind of after-effects will he suffer from? Will he be the same cornerback when he comes back? |
