It's all about the defense for me. ST's planting of Mike Anderson, Marcus Washington's spin-move sack on Anthony Wright, Griffin and Salave'a disrupting Rudi Johnson with penetration and holding him to MINUS 8 YARDS ON 3 CARRIES. Kenny Wright's improved play against the Jets, Phillip Daniels getting pressure on Anthony Wright before dealing with back spasms, Archuleta's sack on Ramsey. I love it.
The offense may struggle with growing pains under a new system, but no matter what, this defense is going to be sick. Sean Taylor looks ready to make a big leap. Defense still wins championships, and we'll ride it all the way home. Ask me this, "Hey Schneed, what's cooler, an 80-yard TD from Brunell to Moss, or a Sean Taylor hit on a receiver jarring the ball loose for a fumble recovery?" The hit and fumble any day of the week. Defense baby, defense.
