Re: What Happen to Your D
It's this from the same reliable sources that say that Romo will be starting ahead of Bledsoe because of a preaseson game, or that TO is faking his injury or the same media that it's making a big fuzz of TO hamstring but you don't hear a nothing about S.Smith and Ward's Hamstring and why they aren't playing also.

When Smith or Ward calls one of his QBs gay, refuses to report to a team he is traded to, criticizes the team he then asked to be traded to, calls out that team's QB and says someone else would be better there at QB, when they do all those things then maybe a bigger deal will be made out of them missing time.

Re: What Happen to Your D
A more accurate sum up.
T.O. is cancer. Dallas is infected. As much as the media is reporting it, it doesn't change the legitimacy of it. He's an amazing athlete, an amazing receiver, and an apocalyptic teammate. For the Record, Sean Taylor made Owens his bitch before, don't expect anything different this year. Sean is a head hunter. He's a thug. Whether or not they admit it, recievers think about him every second they're on the field. Footsteps are heard from a mile away. Godspeed T.O. YouTube - Sean Taylor

There's nothing studly about Julius "Mangina" Jones. Let's see him prove something beyond this season and then we'll talk.

This was coming no matter how much of a model citizen TO was being. If he took a piss and didn't wash his hands, you know we'd hear about it and the media would make something of it. If things wouldn't have blown up so much in Philly, these issues wouldn't exist today. Nothing will ever be the same for him, no matter where he goes. He's going to have to set RECORD-BREAKING numbers this year to get people off his back.

Re: What Happen to Your D
And unfortunately for him, we're already reading about players taking Parcell's side and some taking TO's side. This has put Parcells is a REAL dilemma because he has to please Owens at the risk of alienating the rest of the team with his special treatment of Owens.
It's not huge, but no one can deny it's happening.

Re: What Happen to Your D
2005: Despite missing three games, Jones finished eighth in the NFC, 17th in the NFL, with 993 rushing yards.
In a 24-20 win at Carolina (12/24), Jones posted a season-high 194 rushing yards and two touchdowns on a career-high 34 carries. The 194 yards was the second best total of his career and the fourth best day in club history. His 34 carries tied Smith for the second most in a game in club history, one shy of Smith's record of 35. 2004: Although he didn't burst into the spotlight until late November, Jones enjoyed one of the most memorable and productive rookie seasons of any player - at any position - in team history. Saddled with injuries (bruised rib and fractured scapula) that held him out of eight of the first nine games of the year, Jones left an indelible mark on the Cowboys record book when his health returned. While starting the final seven games of the season, Jones finished the year with 819 rushing yards, a 4.2-yard average and seven rushing touchdowns. Doesn't sound like a "mangina" to me. I like my crow with a little horseradish. You? |

Re: What Happen to Your D
993 rushing yards is just that, 993 rushing yards. 17th in the NFL? Out of 32 teams? Excuse me if I'm not too quick to lift my "mangina" status from Julius Jones.
What did he do last year? Stay hurt like usual. That crow is going to go bad staying in your freezer for that long.

Re: What Happen to Your D
And 819 in 2004? Sure, you can say his YPC is a pretty number, but the whole beauty behind Mangina status is that he has yet to play a whole season. Hence, the name. Mangina.

Re: What Happen to Your D
Actually, the poor showing is a blessing in disguise. It woke the coaches up and they, in turn, are making sure the players are better prepared and taking things more seriously. This couldn't have happened at a better time - still 2 more pre games to go to correct any problems.
We don't need to panic at all or worry too much about performance right now. The only thing to worry about is injuries. We will be fine come September against the Vikes. |
