I guess if he practices sometime today or tomorrow, he will play. That will be the real key.
How does Matty know what John Clayton knows?

scowan, who are your other running backs? the vikings were actually pretty decent against the run last year.

Re: Clinton Portis Week 1 Injury watch

It could be that Cliton Portis fears the Willams' (that's Pat and Kevin) bone crushing run stopping ability. And even if he goes off tackle either one of Minnesota's DEs, or perhaps a linebacker, all of whom are rumored to be lighter, faster, and more vicious this year, will simply destroy him.
Just a theory.skinsfan@aol.com

Dmek, My other backs are Thomas Jones CHI, who would be playing against the Packers this week (not a bad matchup), Warrick Dunn, playing at Carolina, kind of scary, Ahman Green, the flip side of my first back playing against CHI, which is definitely scary, and Deangelo Williams. Deangelo will be spliting too much time with Deshawn Foster early in the season in my opinion to be a legit starter. Oh, and Portis, who I guess is a game day decision at this point. What would do with these backs, knowing you need to start 2 of them?
