Yeah, GOOD LUCK on that one.

My thoughts:

Giants OLine has improved dramatically. Tiki and Jacobs had a lot of room to run, and Eli wasn't pressured.

The offensive pass interference in the 4th quarter was one of the worst calls of all-time, but they still had 70 yards to go. No guarantee they would have scored. However, the Colts had not been able to stop the Giants all day, so no reason to believe they wouldn't have been able to get into FG range.

The D was an absolute disgrace. You cannot allow a team to covert 11 3rd downs, 4 for more than 10 yards. Lewis should be drawn and quartered.

When Burress scored the TD my first thought was, "they left too much time on the clock." When will these idiot Def Coord's learn they cannot play a prevent when a team has all their time-outs.

Arrington? The whole Mr. Nickels thing just shows he is a moron who has never lived up to his pre-draft hype and needs to do something to get his attention, knee injury or not. I was happy when Shockey said, "The University of Miami" rather than , "the U".

Let's go Vikings!!!!!

Mr. Nichols from the School of Hard Knocks? Shouldn't you have to make some real plays or stand out from the crowd before you go saying dumb shit like that?

Key word there is "trying." From the looks of it, he didn't accomplish a damned thing. Colts only had 3 penalties for 20 yards - I didn't see a single false start or busted play on the part of the Colts, so I'm not sure what good all Pierce's attempts at disrupting the communication did.

I have a hard time believing anyone on the Colts offense was mistaking Peyton's voice for Pierce's voice - really no confusion at all.

You don't cast any blame toward the questionable acquisition of R.W. McQuarters and Sam Madison (Gramps & Gramps) to shore up the pass defense?

I'd have no reason to expect anything different from those two.

I'll give you the Giants D-line – you've got 3 fearsome defensive ends, (though I do wonder how much Strahan has left at this stage). But come on, McQuarters and Madison?

Why not give Everson Walls a call while you're at it?

Re: Colts/Giants

I wasn't crazy about Madison and McQuarters who they seem to only be using as the nickel-back, but I did like the Demps pick-up.

However, they ARE an improvement over Allen and Peterson who were absolute garbage the past 3 years. Then again, that is like saying a guy goes to work one day smelling like horse manure, the next day smells like dog$hit. Does he smell better? Probably. Does he smell good? Hell no.

I think it was more about the soft-zone coverage they called. I can deal with Peyton making plays, but eventually you need to mix up your coverage.

Are you serious? Brunell is terrible. You guys are going to be disappointed with him AGAIN this season.

Is there something wrong with that? Manning shifts the offense around when he looks at the defense's formations. It's part of the game.

I hope Marcus Washington directs the D like that too.
