Re: Hello I'm new here....

Hooskins has used this thread to belittle a guy who signed up here to talk trash, however is it not a little ironic that I read other threads and notice Hooskins having signed up to other teams fan boards?
A little pot/kettle/black surely?

Re: Hello I'm new here....

Also all this talk about us slapping the Jags about like little girls? No offence but once everyone calms down, we barely won that game, we had command of it and almost let ti get away from us.

Our pass D looked awful at times, true, our run D is immense, but if our DBs learnt to cover and tackle we'd be sailing towards the playoffs!

I too will celebrate the win, but its not like we beat them by 2 TDs or more we had to go to OT and got the ball first.

Re: Hello I'm new here....

SantanaMan, no one gave us a hope of beating these guys, let alone hanging with them. Short of some coverage f-ups we did a good job against a 'dominant' team.

Enjoy it, don't feel guilty.

I disagree. We slapped them around, the score wasn't indicative of the way we manhandled them. I would even say defensively.

We basically let them back into the game i n the fourth quarter, and granted they had 307 yds total offense.

This is the only reason the score was close. Overall, the Redskins dominated the Jaguars.

Yeah I most definately have, but I go there to talk football. 5RINGS does that here, I do not think he is a tool. I go the Cowboys board to get there perspective as fans, and to stimulate educated debate. I don't just join sites the week before we play them, and proclaim that their teams will get raped, there is a huge difference from a member like 5RINGS and troll99, I am more like 5RINGS at the Dallas board.

UM, it was a GOOD game against a GOOD team. Another guy wanting perfection! Sheesh!! We dominated that game, and yes the Jags did their best, but the best team won!! And that says A LOT. I WILL NOT LISTEN TO NEGATIVE TALK AFTER A GAME LIKE THAT!!!!

Re: Hello I'm new here....

Nope I don't want perfection, but I doubt you can ever call a win in OT domination, what KC did to San Fran was domination, what NY did to us last year was domination - we played well enough to win the game, but please don't start kidding ourselves we dominated.

Without the missed tackles and poor coverage yes, you could say we domniated, but be didn't get the tackles, we didn't have the coverage.
How many long passes have we conceeded this year, how many in that last game? They couldn't run on us so they were forced to pass, we KNEW they were gonna pass and we still couldn't stop it consistently.

We're only setting ourselves up for a fall if we think we dominated that game, I'm just being a realist, we played very good on O, but the D has a a ways to go.

You need to read the stats! Against the Jags we were awesome and then some. No, not perfect, but damn near it and considering no other team has yet to do what we did to them.... that means we are far better than what you are saying here.

Well said Ms. H, enough of this negativity.

I'm sure you love puppies.
