Re: The Season Is Over

But, if there's one man I'd want to be there, it's Joe Gibbs. I still trust him to get his act together and get these guys running on the same page.

YAY!! TRUST IN GIBBS!!!!!!!!!!

.. (I'm trying..)

Re: The Season Is Over

i certainly agree on it being a long season. it felt really long last year when the Skins were 5-6. while i don't expect a miracle, stranger things have happened.

That and even when he does jump the route he can't catch...

Re: The Season Is Over

I don't know about Rogers. If anything, he's been playing decent and at least is good against the run. He's had a couple of bonehead plays, but that's better than most of the corners in the league can say.

Re: The Season Is Over

I think Rogers is a decent cover guy as long as a great one is on the other side and you have 2 guys who can cover/make plays on the ball over the top. There was a lot more help for corners in the passing game last year before they signed a linebacker to play strong safety...

Remember the Chargers! 0-4 in 1992, finished 11-5 with a playoff win

Season is far from over

Re: The Season Is Over

If we drop to 2-5 next week the season is pretty much done for me. If that happens and we don't get Campbell ready to play after the bye, I'll really be scratching my head. The season hinges on beating the Colts.

Excellent example but, then they showed signs of a change and we, show no such drive. I read an artivcle that said Snyder was meddling in team affairs again, and THAT aint good....

I think the best chance we have to win ANYTIME in the near future is Joe Gibbs and his staff...maybe there are a few smaller assisitant coaches that could change places (hint, hint), but if Joe or mr. Saunders goes, we are fucked. Royally. Wanna end up like the raiders are now? Old head coach, has noting left in him, no TRUE team talent, and NOT A FUCKING WIN YET! And they probably wont get one ANY time this year till sum1 gives em 1....

I think we just have to believe in Joe....and get rid of some of the slackers...if we lose the next 3-5 games....its time to say fuck this season and look to the future and find out what's up with JC NOW!

Thats about the exact way I feel about the enitre situation. To say that the season is salvagable if Indy beats us is ludicrous( not the rapper)
. We definitly need to look ahead to the future and prepare as best we can for it....
