This country is way too polarized, there aren't enough people willing to meet in the middle. We need that more than anything these days.

i agree with the moderate thing, but man, i lost much of the respect i had for McCain when his republican masters made him change his original maverick tune a couple months ago. reminded me that he's just another politcian.

Self preservation is the name of the game. Like all politicians he toes the party line when put out to dry.
