who said i wasnt cheering on the team to beat dallas???? I think that's pretty standard to cheer for your own team, don't you??? I've made plenty of positive posts on the game, I think we can win this game. Especially facing a rookie QB at home.

Come on Hessyy, its all good. we all got love here for the Skins, that is why we spend our time posting here, rather than doing other things. everyone here is very down over the teams lackluster performance over the last decade, and that is why we are so critical. Our team has not shown much glimmer, and it hurts.

You think you have been through it all? I was born in 87, when we won the Superbowl. Since then I can only remember 3 playoff births, including last year. Much of what I have seen is crap, but I still keep coming back because I love this team more than any woman(except you mom!!).

If that is not commitment and true fanship, I don't know what is.

I just think that being a fan and wanting your team to win comes allways, but when you want to be recional about the sport you love and give deeper toughts on your team and football subjects you have to take the fan out of you and just look at the game.

And all might say that your team would lose or doesn't stand a chance but on Sunday we all want our team to win even if we tought they wouldn't.

That happen to me last week against Carolina everything said Carolina would win that game I hoped for a close game but I didn't expect a W, but when the game was on I was back being just a fan screeming and demanding my team to kick those panthers ass.

And hope can't die hey any given Sunday anyone can win it just a matter of who shows up.

Yeah, I have seen/known only a losing redskins in my life. Last year was like a dream come true. Gets my blood running through my veins. It's okay to be critical/pessimistic when we're 2-5. In fact... it would be damn crazy not to be. We'll still always hope for the best.

Either way, I want them to kick the s%#$ out of Dallas on sunday, lets crush some dreams.

.
I'm not very good at taking the "fan out of me". Born and raised to love the Skins. Even when they suck.

As was I, but just because I am more critical when we lose doesnt make me less of a fan, or a worst one, for the reasons i have pointed out above.

Loving doesn't imply ignoring reality. We all love em, but we know theres someting wrong with them.

Hess, your one of the most hardcore fans out there... love the passion.

You better be getting amped up for sunday!!!!

I'm not saying you guys are bad fans, I'm asking you to stop being negative less than 48hrs away from the game and cheer on the skins. I think we've beat the negative TO DEATH. Is it too much to ask to have a little pep rally??? HAIL!

It sure does make it more fun that way.....

Sometimes I like to keep my expectations low so that way I'll never be disappointed.

Hess is right. Negativity is bad. I am/have been negative (what I would call realistic/rational) in the past, but I am done with that. It's called self-fulfilling prophecy: if you think something will happen, it does.

And on that note, we will win this weekend. Why? because I just said so.

I like to think bad thoughts because then it's kind of like reverse psychology against myself.
