We know that if he throws it Lloyd's way he can out jump the cowgirls secondary so I'd love to see Brunell tossing it deep a few times on 1st and 2nd down to stretch the field and open it up for Portis.

Of course, we all hope Moss plays but perhaps if he doesn't it will at least force Brunell to look elsewhere - looking on the bright side, this could be the time for Lloyd and ARE to break out.
I really don't think its about "will they step up". They are paid professonals. They will be ready. The problem is this: Moss does things on a football field that cannot be duplicated. Not just by ARE or Lloyd, but by anyone in the NFL. We lose Moss, and we lose about half of our big play ability. Nevertheless, we have the recievers to play this game, and move the chains. We just have to hope that the D comes around, because without Moss, we won't be able to keep up in a shootout.

Hmmm... Moss downgraded to doubtful. Not good. I'm hoping to see a lot out of Cooley and ARE. As far as Lloyd goes, I predict another hissy fit. I hope I'm wrong.

I remember Lloyd having a great game against Dallas last year. No reason he can't repeat. I'm going to go way out on a limb here and say David Patten catches a TD pass. Heck you know what, I'll say 2!

Yup, if Patten plays like we think we know he can.

Am I the only one with a Patten jersey? I am, aren't I.

Patten might not even play. So put down your Patten jersey and get your James Thrash jersey on.

I would imagine WR is the one position the redskins have enough depth at to be prepared for an injury.

Nope. If Moss isn't playing all the passes will go to backs and TEs as Brunell has not been informed that Moss isn't the only wideout on the team.
