Re: Give Props to Brunell
considering he had no running game he did well. I voted avg, but if I'd say he did good if I had thought about that simple fact...
Even though we did try to run the ball, its not like they really had to worry too much about us blowing them up on the ground, so they were preparing to see passes and they got them and we executed a few times... for that he gets props this week. no question, but he's not above criticism by any means...

They won because of a great overall team effort. That's what we should be talking about... not the play of one guy for the millionth time. |

M. Brunell 14 23 192 60.9 8.3 1 9 1 0 He's a FA or a bench sitter in Fantasy! I say he's horrible, at best he is below average! Jason Campbell may not be all that, but he's got a better arm than MB, for sure! I pulled for Sonny in the Sonny/Billy debate. Gus in the Heath/Gus debate. So, don't go by my choices if you think different.

I am not a Brunell lover on any level and you can see that in my previous points. He was incredible today, if you don't belive me look at the body language on every play in the second half. He was as good as any QB in the league today. |

The lack of skill this QB shows is incredible. I'm shocked at how easily pleased the people on here are. Seriously, you act like he did something of mythical proportions. It wasn't in Dallas, it wasn't 13 points down with little time to go. Please watch the game again with a clear head and critque him honestly. Damn! |

Re: Give Props to Brunell
I voted average.
He made some good throws and they won. His weaknesses were still glaringly on display though, can't handle any pressure (team consultant Ray Brown admitted this in a post-game interview), won't look at the # 2 receiver (Randle EL today), and underthrows the deep route badly. We did not win this game because of Mark Brunell.

You ragged him for going into the fetal position on that sack today. Funny, because I saw Peyton Manning take a sack in the same exact way tonight. Clear head and honest critique? I really hope you're joking. |

Re: Give Props to Brunell
I don't think anyone is trying to say that.
I think we're spending way too much damn time talking about one guy. It's a shame because I thought it was a great team effort. Offense, defense and special teams all did their part today. That's how you win games in this league, not because of one guy. |
