The problem is, while the Redskins are worth over a billion, Snyders liquid assets aren't at that level yet. If he were to pay for the entire project with his own money, it'd probably cost him close to half of his fortune. He wouldn't sacrifice that much of his fortune unless he was 100% sure he could make it back. If he was promised four superbowls, that'd make most of his money back for him, but I don't see it happening otherwise.
