Re: This week against Philly

In general our red zone offense has been pretty good. I agree third down defense needs to tighten up, but I think that was something flukey, because overall the defense played pretty well.

We tighten that up, stick with a similar gameplan and we're golden.

I don't think we'll have to force McNabb to pass because that's what the Eagles do 80% of the time anyway. Andy Reid has never relied that much on a running game. It's in the passing game with our 30th ranked defense going against a team that consistently makes big plays in the passing game, on the road, in the division, that is the greatest concern. Remember, division games on the road are always extremely difficuly. It's a must win game for both teams, and the Eagles have an extra week to prepare. It's a winable game, but it's going to come down to who want's it the most, and plays accordingly.

Nope, I don't think that, but we DID deserve to win that game. Dallas stunk worse than we did on Sunday and they deserved to lose. We did not steal it away. Both teams played and the better team won - THAT DAY.

Re: This week against Philly

We didn't so much steal it, it was handed to us.

The TO drop, the Cooley drop, the Fauria hold, the Cowboys' dropped interceptions, the Skins' inability to run the ball into the end zone, all of that resulted in a tie game at 19 with two minutes to play. So all of the crap that happened before that evened out.

But from there, we allowed the Cowboys to march down the field in 30 seconds to kick a 35 yard field goal, and Jason Witten handed us the game by not blocking Troy Vincent. After that, Sean Taylor and Nick Novak made great plays to seal the deal. But nobody would argue that Witten's missed block was the key to the entire game.

We didn't steal this game. But we didn't win it either. The Cowboys lost it.

"This is very near and dear to me," McNabb said. "I took a lot of pride in the design, the comfort level and the look."
