Terps win!
Big win for the terps who rack up another key conference win with the 14-13 victory over Miami. The offense was flat after the 2 big plays early but the defense and special teams made up for it. Two tough games to wrap up the season at BC and at home vs. Wake Forest but beating Florida St, Clemson and Miami in the last 3 sure looks impressive.

terps keep pulling off the close ones...their last 7 games have been decided by a total of 24 points, their last 2 wins have been by 1 point

hey im rootin for the terps man, that win over yall is startin to look more and more impressive and if wvu wins out and beats rutgers it comes down to quality wins as the tiebreaker for the big east champ... woo woo GO TURTLES GO

We rushed the field AGAIN!!! WTF!?": I mean i joined in the festivities but why would we rush against Miami?? We are better than them. We have a better record. Their player died this week so maybe we shouldn't rub anything in. And MOST OF ALL WE ARE RANKED and they aren't. A ranked team rushing the field for an unranked team?!?! I was extremely drunk at the beginning of the game. It was a little rediculous. I rushed the field for the fun of it and i was still a bit tipsy. Lance ball gave me a hug and we were chanting BCS and ACC the entire time. I am about to go out and celebrate the win.

Not only did the Terps win but we also had our best tailgate of the year for it, so that was nice.
They might not be winning pretty, but at least they're winning, so it's all gravy.

Josh Wilson does nothing but make plays on defense and special teams. This guy is really gonna make himself a big name once he enters the NFL draft. I think he's a junior this. He is also a product of DeMatha which i graduated from '05 so naturally I pull for him.

Heyward-Bey (sp?) is nasty. On that 95+ yrd TD yesterday he didn't even make a move to get past the CB, he just ran right past him because he knows he's faster than anyone out there.
If he's not at least in consideration for ACC Freshman of the year I think there's a problem; although, are red shirts freshman allowed to win that?

If wake beats tech this week it won't change the importance as we still need to win but it does make them higher ranked and it feel more important. I can't believe the terps are in this playoff type situation in where if they keep on winning they would play an at large team in the orange bowl. #19 inthe BCS. Thats whats up. We are going to have to beat 3 ranked teams in a row to get into the orange bowl. We will move up in therankings. I can't even think about winning the orange bowl. I don't think it is possible but a little bit of luck can go a long way. |
