Again, my thread was a blanket statement. I have no idea why you're getting such an attitude about it.
i agree with all your statements, again, i think everyone here knows how pervasive our problems are on this team. it seemed like this thread was a reaction to all the calls for Brunell's head, as if they felt that would fix all our problems and i was just saying nobody thought that.

I know it may seem that way, because there has been alot of calls for MB's head, but there has also been calls for our coaches' heads and for other players. I am just hoping that people will understand the depth of our problems. Me, being a Brunell supporter for the most part, understand that it's time to allow Jason Campbell to come in and play. I support that 100%! If we were 6-3, I'd say no. I just hope people will realize that if and when Jason comes in, he is going to have a challenge. I believe that even for Campbell to give our team a spark, he's going to have to have better pass protection than what MB was given today.

I don't think anyone expects Campbell to turn our team into some offensive juggernaut. I think most expect him and our offense to struggle. BUT, I think most believe that our team needs a spark and Campbell will provide it. Moreover, I'd rather watch our team lose with Campbell to help our team's future than to watch our team lose with Brunell because Gibbs is enamored with Brunell's past.

I agree that if we're losing with Brunell (and we are) then we might as well be losing with JC and getting him experience. I don't always agree that the QB is necessarily the guy who comes off the bench to add a spark to the team. I think back in the season with Shotty as our coach and we were 0-5. It wasn't the QB who gave us the spark, but Arrington's INT that turned our season around (well at least got us on track to winning more games.)

It may not been Campbell who gives us the spark...could be TJ Duckett...might be a defensive player that we decide to plug in. Who knows...but I am curious to find out what Jason can do for us.
