No need for both when we had so many other pressing needs. Bad move giving up a draft pick for Duckett. I could go on and on. He is the team president which means he the buck stops with him. If it were not for the defense last year then it would have really been ugly. The whole QB situation this year was just a frickin joke. He should have thanked Brunell for last year and went with JC right after 05 was over. Bottom line is we all know Gibbs is loyal to a fault. See Bobby Beatherd.
There certainly have been erroneous personel moves made, but regardless of who's fault that was, how does that change Gibbs' legacy as a football coach.

As an on field coach, I feel Gibbs has yet to make a wrong decision on the field. Of course, he's mortal, and time will tell what ultimately went right and what went wrong, but I don't think its right to go around second guessing the guy when you really don't know what decisions, if ANY, he's been on the wrong side of. We have NO reason to believe that Gibbs doesn't know exactly what he's doing with his on field decisions.

Obviously, as far as personel goes, he has no successful legacy to speak of so I believe its a bit more reasonable to critize moves that appear questionable. Giving away draft picks is an obvious mistake that he's made, but in multiple situations (Portis, Cooley, J. Campbell), it has paid off for us. Regarding this free agent class, lets watch them down the stretch. It's hard to notice personal improvement when a team is struggling, so as the team improves these next few weeks, try to see if Carter/Archuleta and co. are doing their jobs. Arch, IMO, has done a great job on special teams, and if he's willing to work his way back into favor, I believe he deserves the chance.
