If Santa gives Gibbs a DE , an OL -men that can maul people a very good corner and maybe another DL-men ,,,, Gibbs will be on top again . Maybe one of these young db's steps up next year , and Golston and Montgomery improve , we could be very good in 07 !

This goes both ways. The talent Gibbs had his first year was superior to what Spurrier had. All of a sudden, when the HoF coach comes back and struggles the problem is the players, not the coach. Gibbs went out and got better players and coaches around him. Props to him for that.

I loved it when Spurrier was here the blame was constantly put on the offense for not getting it done. Which was true, they didn't get it done. When Gibbs showed up, our defense played lights out, held them to 17, but they give up a TD after being on the field 3/4 of the game, and people blame the defense?

Gibbs deserves some bashing by now. Even the media gave him a free pass for quite some time. It's not getting done, and he shouldn't be any more immune from criticism than any other coach.
