Based on history if I was JC I'd be worried that Gibbs is endorsing him, just ask Ramsey. As much as I hate to say it, its hard to believe anything Gibbs says anymore.

I dont think JC needs a timetable, he just needs to keep getting better each week and if he does that we will all be very happy.

History shows GIbbs came in his first offseason after Spurrier left, watched the tapes of the prior season for player evaluation purposes and the first move he made was get Brunnell. How is that for endorsing Ramsey?
So what message did that sent to Ramsey at that time? 'I do not want Ramsey as my starting QB, he is not ready', which ended up being the correct call. Ramsey is now the third string QB with Jets behind a rookie.
