I'm not sure all countries that use the pound, I know England, Scotland, and Ireland...most of the western continent now use the Euro.
I am pretty sure that a pound is a pound, there are no variations.

Quick thing on monetary systems.. the words "dollar" or "pound" are really insignificant when speaking of terms of actual value. Obviously a Canadian dollar isn't worth the same as an American dollar, but they both use "dollars". The whole value to each country's currency is determined in the world market and based on each nation's economy. They are not units like the inch or the kilogram; they have no universally set value.

This has nothing to do with football does it...

Maybe I am not understanding you, but they do. Just ask traders.
Like I said the british pound to dollar equivelency is 1 to 1.9697...how is that not a set value?

It's not a set value as it ticks up or down fractionally all the time (every few seconds in fact). Currently the exchange rate is 1.9428 US$ to 1 GB£.

The Romanian currency is the Leu.

This must win the award for dullest reply!

The rate is now 1.9430 btw.

Re: Portis For Jason Taylor

Betts is a Great Back. I saw a fumble that could be chalked up to a learning experience and I saw another that i thought could not have been avoided. Portis is also a Great back with a different style. Saunders is a 2 back kinda guy. They'll keep them both and build plays around them both. Gibb's and Saunders both love the run game. I'd say Duckett wont make the cut but Cartright will stay. The offense will be really good this coming year now that they have a QB that is a wanna be vs a has been. the real question will be can the offense score more points than the defense will give up.
