Re: My Defensive Makeover

Wait, wait! I want to be one of those guys who runs out on the field during timeouts with a Gatorade bottle and a towel.

They wear sweet khaki pants. I look fantastic in khaki pants.

Re: My Defensive Makeover

I'm kind of Santana Moss-esque, minus the speed and unreal football skills.

I'll play nickle and be the gadget play guy on offense (reverses, options, etc.)

Wonder what my Madden rating would be?

Re: My Defensive Makeover

Brandon Lloyd is worth negative right now. I think we'd get more out of a turd covered in burnt hair. AA has value???? I think we could maybe get warren sapp's jock strap for AA. Randy moss is a less effective TO, enough said. It is funny though, how Snyder might like the idea, or at least he would have a couple years ago when he was a little boy with a new christmas toy (redskins franchise).

Goes without saying we keep Albright to be our long snapper. Am I right guys?

Re: My Defensive Makeover

My sister is convinced that I should try-out to be one of those guys that runs the huge Redskins flag across the endzone after we score a TD. I think I'd need to hire a personal trainer before I tried anything that exhausting.

I'll bet it's as high as Ethan Albright's.

Re: My Defensive Makeover

Move AMD to DE - I got Sapp's back at 6'2" 275. Since I am the slowest white man ever (I make Grady Jackson look like a sprinter), I am only good on the line. Hell, I am so slow even AA could cover me.

Shoot, I say we move him to QB. He can stand with his back to the line of scrimmage and just long snap the ball downfield every time. He'd make Peyton look like a punk.

I'm fine with that. In fact, I have a wicked spin move (it takes a full 8 seconds).

Nobody is that slow. Nobody.

Larry King runs a 17 minute 40-yard sprint and AA got completely lost trying to keep up with him.

AA would finish last in the special olympics.

Good thing we shipped out Ramsey before thinking about bringing in Briggs.

Remember the un-fined dirty hit that ended Ramsey's career as a Redskin in Week 1 of last year?

I thought it was a dirty hit (obviously high) but after Brunell took us to the playoffs, I actually wanted to THANK him for removing Patrick.

Re: My Defensive Makeover

Do you guys really think that signing Clements to a huge deal will help us that much. Havn't we learned by now that signing players to huge deals doesnt mean huge success. I think we should just draft a corner with the 6th pick and start him off at nickel. Also the return of priouleu will help out alot. Last year when our defense was ranked 9th we had the same core group of guys starting, so i dont think that a huge overhaul over big more big name free agents is going to improve. I think we just have to put our faith in the coaching because we know we have enough talent because we've all seen what they can do. Its all about Greg Williams if u ask me, not personel

Typical fence sitter that I am, I agree with some of this and disagree with some of it. PLAYERS (Springs, Daniels) have said that our defensive talent is not up to snuff. Since these are guys who have the talent to be successful, and I haven't played a down in the NFL, I will take them at their word. At the same time, I think GW "got some thinkin to do" b/c, with essentially the same lineup, the defensive dropoff from last year to this year seemed precipetice (even taking injuries into account).
